Empty Cases is the on-line portal to the written and video works of Richard Mann.

Born and raised in West Virginia, Richard has hunted from the Montana mountains to the green hills of Africa. He has a military, law enforcement, firearms instructing, and competitive shooting background, and is the author of Rifle Bullets for the Hunter, Handgun Training for Personal Protection, Shooter’s Guide to the AR, 13th Edition of Cartridges of the World, Under Orion, and The Scout Rifle Study.

Richard is a Field Editor for Field & Stream magazine, and currently contributes to a variety of other gun and hunting periodicals.
