Super Cool – Reloaded

UPDATE: Looks like this post was driving so much traffic to the video that the manufacturer thought it best to not let anyone see it anymore. (My job is done.)

MORE RECENT UPDATE: The video is live again!

Being the idiot gun writers that some think we are, it is simply our duty to inform the gun buying public of new products. That being said, let me introduce to you the – most fantastic, the ultimate, the best thing I have ever seen for personal protection – tool to come about in a long time. This product is due to be introduced at SHOT Show this year and I’m heart broken that I will not be present for what is sure to be the unveiling of the most ground breaking product of the century. I’m sure defense contractors, soldiers, police along with an assortment of tactards the world over will be fondling this device and placing orders at an unheard rate of rapidity. I would collect one and offer a full test and review here at Empty Cases but I’m afraid I do not have the martial prowess, tactical dexterity or basic self defense knowledge to do this cool tool justice. (Hence, the reason gun writers like me are often reefed to as idiots.)

After watching the video I do however have one question, why stab someone when you could shoot them? That question posed, the manufacture does say  that the Manly Bayonet. “…will be a game changer in CQB / zero-sum conflict scenarios.” Gee, that sounds really cool, whatever the hell it means.

Don’t shoot the messenger. I’m guessing that while you were fretting over the rising cost of your health care you could use a good laugh. And, after all, I have given you the information you need to now be cooler than all your range buddies. Just keep that in mind the first time you perform immediate action on your pistol and then have to test your new health care policy.

Oh, and one final observation: Watch this video without the cool music (For the computer challenged this means turn the volume down.) Its more entertaining that way. By the way, it does seem a bit small to be called “manly.”

HillWilliams are NOT Idiots!…Gunwriter’s self esteem should not be lost due to people who are…RAM..Now git over it!.Oh I almost forgot the answer to your question RAM..After watching the video I do however have one question, why stab someone when you could shoot them? The answer is quite simply “Shhhh” is much more quiet,up close & personal than BANG your dead.

I think it would be best to keep a gun a gun and a knife a knife. (Looks like something out of the toy isle for kids) In my opinion this is hokey… But it was fun to see only because guns and knives are cool.

I got a “Manly Bayonet ” last year for my Glock. Mine goes on the rail which is ,I think, the logical place. This one is even more ridiculous than the one for the Glock. Cool factor is off the scale but in reality it is completely(or lmost completely) useless. Somebody will buy them. Mine was given to me as a joke and I think that sums it up.

Um, the way he holds it when he stabs the wall about halfway thru the video is not what I would call ‘manly’. Looks like a bad comedian making fun of homosexuals in the 80s.
