My operatives at SHOT have uncovered some new guns from Browning.
The first is a Micro X-Bolt and a Silver shotgun in Buckthorn Pink. Below those two is a 100th anniversary SA 22 which is one of the most fun to shoot and dependable .22 rifles you can buy.
Browning has also added the X-Bolt Predator Hunter to the line (top). It is available in .223 Remington, .204 Ruger and in .22-250 Remington. Interestingly the .223 will have a 1 in 8 twist and the .22 -250 a 1 in 9 so you can shoot those long, high BC bullets.
I’m not a shotgun guy but I do appreciate any gun that has been smartly, purpose built and the Browning BPS Predator Hunter is just such a gun, if you like to hunt predators with a shotgun.
In keeping with the purpose built theme, Browning has added an X-Bolt and a BAR to their line up which have been specifcally designed for hog hunting. The X-Bolt Hog Stalker is available in .308 Winchester and has a threaded muzzle. The BAR ShortTrac Hog Stalker is also in .308.
