Kids need special rifles because kids are small and do not have a lot of arms strength. Sure, you teach them to first shoot – to learn to manage a trigger and work with sights – from the bench. But eventually, to really enjoy shooting, a kid will want to stand up on their hind legs and shoot just like you do. To do this they’ll need a rifle that is light enough for them hold up.
