About a week ago I returned from a hunt with Hornady and Trophies Plus Outfitters in Alzada, Montana. It was one of the best hunts I’ve had. Partially because I got to take two deer – a mule deer and a whitetail. And partially because I got to do some sightseeing while I was there. The country was big and open, the deer were plentiful, and the guide was awesome. However, like with anything else, it was not perfect. It was the first deer camp I’ve ever been to where there was no bacon and the camp cook had a monopoly on the television. I’d still go back!
