Today I put about 200 rounds through a pistol fitted with a Trijicon RMR. There is a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you can do things! I think the fiber optic / tritium version might be the best option and we will give it a go tomorrow. It definitely qualifies as a “sight you can see.” After the square range work and after plate rack and dozier drills we took them to the Scrambler and I hit every target – one out past 100 yards – and only missed one of the seven with the first shot. I’ve tried this before with open sights and generally run about 50% on the exercise. I like it and with the right holster its concealable.
