The Chaos Bullet

The only animal I've shot with a Chaos bullet was a badger using the .300 Blackout.

The Controlled Chaos bullet from Lehigh Defense is similar in some ways to the famous Nosler Partition. However, the Controlled Chaos bullet is a machined brass bullet and in .30 caliber it weighs only 110 grains. When impacting an animal, the front core of the Chaos bullet essentially comes apart and the fluid based media (an animal or a gel block) the bullet is impacting drives these parts out and away from the primary wound track. The base of the bullet, which remains caliber diameter continues to penetrate, generally about 24 inches. So, you get massive tissue destruction and good penetration. The following video will give you an idea of how this bullet works.

    Hi Richard,
The Lehigh bullet may be an alright bullet however, the firearm will need to be sighted in exclusively for that specific Lehigh bullet. I’ve found that the Lehigh bullet will usually end up several inches off target at 100-yards compared to a 150-grain bonded bullet. (It’s quite different)
