From time to time new ammunitions slip through the cracks because they are not claimed to be the best deer killers or bad guys stoppers. Barnes Bullets has two new lines of ammunition that might appeal to you if you like to shoot little groups, bang steel or just hear your gun go off. While conducting some research at the Barnes Bullets’ laboratory in Mona, Utah I got to talk with Jessica Brooks-Stevens about these new offerings. She also proved good to her word and has provided samples. I’ll be covering both loads in my next ammo column for NRA’s Shooting Illustrated magzine.
