However, the Controlled Chaos bullet is a machined brass bullet and in .30 caliber it weighs only 110 grains. When impacting an animal, the front core of the Chaos bullet essentially comes apart and the fluid based media (an animal or a gel block) the bullet is impacting drives these parts out and away from the primary wound track. The base of the bullet, which remains caliber diameter continues to penetrate, generally about 24 inches. So, you get massive tissue destruction and good penetration.
