One is a portly fellow with greying hair and a handlebar mustache. We\u2019ll call him Guy No. 1. The other dude is younger and thinner and he is dressed in a suit and wearing a cowboy hat and boots. We\u2019ll call him Guy No. 2.<\/p>\n<p>They introduce themselves and strike up a conversation. Politics is the topic, which is never a good idea when you first meet someone. However, these two gents agree that the current field of democratic presidential candidates are about as screwed up as a coon dog with pierced nipples. The talk turns to gun control and both men are getting their dander up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/restaurant-dress-codes-open-to-sexual-discrimination-complaints-1.3012522\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16062\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/BT.jpg?resize=780%2C439\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/BT.jpg?w=780&amp;ssl=1 780w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/BT.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/BT.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bar maid walks up and she is a looker. Not only that, she is a bit heavy on top and her tight tank top is cut lower than the either fellow\u2019s approval of Obama. All the talk stops and them two gents just look at her. She says, \u201cWhat\u2019ll it be boys?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drinks are ordered and the talk resumes. Finally mustache man asks the cowboy, \u201cWhat you carrying? 45 I bet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guy No. 2 gives the portly fellow a steely-eyed look, takes a swig of his PBR and says, \u201cNope.\u201d He wipes the foam from his upper lip and continues, \u201cI carry a revolver. 22 Magnum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15913\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/X17.jpg?resize=1000%2C667\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/X17.jpg?w=1000&amp;ssl=1 1000w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/X17.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/X17.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Guy No. 1 gets a look on his face like he just stepped in fresh dog poop. He stands up and starts to say, \u201cYou got to be kidding me! Oh, yeah. What the hell you carrying a .22 Magnum for?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tall fellow takes his hat off, wipes his brow and puts it back on. He says, \u201cI figured having a gun was more important than what caliber it is. After all, bad guys can\u2019t tell to easy what kind of gun you got when they are looking down the barrel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guy No. 1 replies, \u201cThat\u2019s not a very sound approach to personal protection. Only a half witted retard would carry a 22 for protection. With all the other, more suitable carry guns to chose from, you must be dumber than a day old chicken nugget. He gently sweeps his jacket back and places his hand on the grip of his Ruger LCR, making sure hairy lip could see, full well, what he was doing. He looks down at the man who was giving him hell over what kind of gun he was carrying, flexes his fingers on his gun hand \u2013 just to make sure he has the guy\u2019s attention \u2013 and says, real calm like, \u201cThis conversation is over and its time for you to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guy No. 1 never said another word. He stood, threw a few bills on the bar, turned and walked out.<\/p>\n<p>Bout that time, tight T-shirt came over, picked up the cash, looked at the cowboy and said, \u201cDidn\u2019t see that coming. You sure put a stop to his mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cowboy tipped his hat, grinned at the low cut shirt, and said, \u201cNobody wants to get shot with any kind of gun. What time you get off work?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sweet thing smiled and said, \u201cNine. Pick me up out back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes mam, I&#8217;ll be there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So there you have it; three perfect examples of stopping power that can be counted on to work just about every time. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The first was cleavage. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The second was Sweet Home Alabama.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>And the third, well the third was the realization by a loud mouth that he mig<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ht just get shot with a 22 Magnum.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two guys walk into a beer joint in South Alabama and sit beside each other at the bar.
