This was probably in an effort to get attention. It did not work; I ordered an iMac and started cleaning my office which is something I have not done a good job of since April.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/BB-35-Whelen.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7296\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7296 alignleft\" title=\"BB 35 Whelen\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/BB-35-Whelen-300x257.jpg?resize=126%2C108\" alt=\"\" width=\"126\" height=\"108\" \/><\/a>While sorting through the crap mixed in with some interesting stuff I found the box of .35 Whelen ammo I took to Africa and inside the box was the bullet I recovered from my first kudu bull. The shot was about 200 yards and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barnesbullets.com\/products\/components\/rifle\/tsx-bullet\/\" target=\"_blank\">225 grain Barnes Triple Shock<\/a> entered mid-body, passed through the first lung, over the top of the hear, through the second lung and then broke the off-side leg bone. It was recovered just under the hide. The bullet retained all of its weight and expanded to double diameter just like a balanced bullet should.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/BB-35-Whelen-Bullet.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7297\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7297 alignleft\" title=\"BB 35 Whelen Bullet\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/BB-35-Whelen-Bullet-300x295.jpg?resize=126%2C124\" alt=\"\" width=\"126\" height=\"124\" \/><\/a>As a side note, this ammo which is from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalobore.com\/index.php?l=product_detail&amp;p=248\" target=\"_blank\">Buffalo Bore<\/a> shot very well out of my <a href=\"http:\/\/recp.mkt32.net\/servlet\/MailView?m=17638967&amp;r=NTc4MzI4NDIxNQS2&amp;j=MjE3NDM1MzIzS0&amp;mt=1\" target=\"_blank\">Forbes Rifle<\/a>. Not only was it accurate &#8211; shooting about an inch for five shots at 100 yards &#8211; the standard velocity deviations were in the single digits. Performance like this is just one of the reasons I continue to return to Buffalo Bore for ammo when\u00a0 I need to depend on it.
