The thing is, BC is nothing more than an educated guess. It\u2019s a good guess; its just not a perfect guess.<\/p>\n<p>By using Doppler radar and actually shooting bullets at long-range, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hornady.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hornady<\/a> has essentially taken a video of the bullet\u2019s flight and integrated that data into complex formulas that accurately predict how the bullet will fly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/HH-1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13810\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/HH-1.jpg?resize=900%2C478\" alt=\"HH-1\" width=\"900\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/HH-1.jpg?w=900&amp;ssl=1 900w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/empty-cases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/HH-1.jpg?resize=300%2C159&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a revolutionary new approach to long-range shooting and it works. While visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hornady.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hornady<\/a> I fired a few shots with my <a href=\"https:\/\/steyrarms.com\/steyr-scout.html\" target=\"_blank\">Steyr Scout Rifle<\/a> on Doppler radar. The smart guys there did some calculations and my next shot was a first round hit at 600 yards.
