My best\u00a0buddy has moved to Kodiak, Alaska. I’m mad. Not because he is in Alaska and I’m not; I’m mad because I’m in West Virginia and he’s not. Even so, when your best friend asks for help you step up.<\/p>\n

He wants to carry his 1911 for defense against bad guys and bad bears. Now, while many will argue there are better guns for that, many have no idea how effective a hard cast bullet from a .45 AUTO can be. Of course to hit anything he’ll have to be able to see the sights and, with some help from XS Sights<\/a>, I’m helping him realize a good sight picture and the right ammunition for bears and such.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
