One reason is\u00a0because for more than a century shooters have been regulated to standard stock designs. The result is the universal acceptance that rifle stocks don&#8217;t fit and that a shooter must conform to their rifle. This does nothing to help shooters hit what they&#8217;re shooting at. In a perfect world, your rifle would fit you. Fortunately, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mossberg.com\" target=\"_blank\">Mossberg<\/a> has taken a forward step in that direction with their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mossberg.com\/category\/series\/mvp-series\/mvp-lr-long-range\/\" target=\"_blank\">MVP LR rifles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The inclusion of an adjustable comb that is non intrusive allows the shooter to tune the rifle to fit them and whichever sighting system they have in place. It&#8217;s a brilliant design and in reality should be included on a lot more stocks than it is. Short of having a rifle that is custom fit for you or one that has a properly designed stock, like the expensive custom\u00a0rifles from <a href=\"http:\/\/newultralightarms.com\" target=\"_blank\">New Ultra Light Arms<\/a> or the almost as expensive <a href=\"https:\/\/steyrarms.com\/steyr-scout.html\" target=\"_blank\">Steyr Scout<\/a>, the adjustable cheek weld on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mossberg.com\/category\/series\/mvp-series\/mvp-lr-long-range\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mossberg MVP LR<\/a> is\u00a0the next best thing.<\/p>\n<p>The last thing you want to do is mount an expensive, high quality scope like a <a href=\"http:\/\/nightforceoptics.com\/atacr\/4-16x42-f1\" target=\"_blank\">Nightforce ATACR<\/a> on your rifle and not be able to see through it.<\/p>\n<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rifle \/ Shooter\u00a0interface is often overlooked and misunderstood.
